FitCity Indianapolis
Gracie Communications was part of a team that researched, developed and implemented the first three years of a $4.9 million childhood obesity marketing and strategic communications plan to benefit the youth of Indianapolis. Under the leadership of the United Way of Central Indiana and The Health Foundation of Greater Indianapolis, Lisa Sirkin served as program director, formed a steering committee, developed the business plan, and secured annual funding. Specific to communications efforts, Gracie Communications wrote newsletters, e-newsletters, radio reader copy, and direct mail pieces. In addition, our team managed a multi-year advertising buy, consulted with various community groups to develop adolescent-focused health programming, and developed fitcity.info and subsequent content, including an updatable events listing.
